At my local flea market I found at least 15-20 Atlantic 45s of Ol' Miss Pretty/Sharecroppin Blues by Chill Wills. Most are in excellent condition while some have what amounts to small pimples on the playing surface. Also some have a white label over the original label. Are those records worth anything? If so should I buy them and then sell them for a profit? They are only $0.50 each. I looked on the internet and saw one going for around $60.00 in good condition. May be a way to finance my home theater purchase :D

The ones with white labels are promo copies. By all means, grab 'em.

Is this particular record rare or something? It seems odd to find so many in the same place though. What would cause the "pimples" on the playing surface on some of the records?

Let's see, you can buy them for 50 cents apiece.
You've seen them sell for $60.
Let's be conservative and say you sell them for fifty dollars each.
That is 100 times what you paid for them.
Pretty good markup here, for starters!
Let's say there are twenty of them.
Your investment will be $2.00 to buy them all. If you sell them for fifty dollars each, you'll get $1,000. How many hours will it take to sell them? A simple ratio gives you your $/hour. Whether the result of that calculation looks attractive or not, depends on opportunity costs and how you value your time.
Actually, just because you saw one sell for $60 doesn't mean yours can sell for fifty. Maybe they'll only sell for $20 or less, or who knows(?), perhaps the promo copies will sell for a premium above the $60 figure. Maybe when you go back, there will only be ten of them left.
Overall, I'd say it is a coin flip. If you don't want to bother with the hassles of selling them, then just get one to listen to. But I would check a bit more and try to find out if that $60 price is typical or just an abberation, first. If that is the going rate for these, well, an extra thousand bucks (give or take) for a few hours' work might be an attractive thing!

Hey, if they're really worth like $50 each and selling for 50 cents.....
They won't be there when you go back.
"Going back," is rarely productive on a really hot item.
Also, the people who sell at flea markets have computers, too.
They check most of the stuff they get and if those records were really worth $60 each on e-Bay......you wouldn't have seen them in the first place.
But you've had a learning experience......and that's worth way more than what you could have gotten for some records.
There will be other scores.

My bet is, upon finding multiple copies of a particular 45, is that you've come across copies used to service a jukebox route.
