I've been looking for information on the Marantz 2232 SG made in the late
80's. I bought this one at a garage sale and it really sounds good. Mostly I'm interested in what it's power output is. I'm guessing 50 to 100 watts per channel. Any help appreciated. k in neb.

I had one, for a little while. Gave $10-$15 for it at a Goodwill store, Chinese integrated re-badged as Marantz as I recall. I think you are close, maybe 80 watts....another member sold it for me, I think $40.
I was not impressed by it.
