Well. almost done. I still have a coat of urethane to apply and a some feet to install.

The conversion of the 8802-00 included:
1. the removal of the old umbilical connection
2. the addition of an illuminated power switch
3. gold plated rca inputs
4. gold plated binding posts
5. a pilot light and switch to turn the pilot off
6. the replacement and updating/upgrading of the all the power supply caps
7. the updating and upgrading of the cathode bypass cap and coupling caps
8. a wrap with oak
9. the balance pot conversion
10. A thorough cleaning
11. the addition of a new three prong cord for ground and a new strain relief
12. A few minor cuts and scrapes on a few fingers:tears:
13. and of course one good zap for being just a little careless :nono::nono:

But, I t turned out extremely well. Thanks again to GordonW for his helpful experience and knowledge. This amp drives my kornerhorns and opens them up beautifully. Quite an incredible combination.

I am curretnly using the original 6eu7 tubes, the original 6ca5 rectifier, and a new set of EH 6v6gt's

I am hoping to aquire a set of NOS vintage 6v6's to see what happens.

One last note, brasso polishes the frames on these OPT's incredibly well - give it a try if you have one you want to spiff up.

Just thought I would share the completed project.

Am I missing the all important fuse holder somewhere in there? I'm just sayin'..... :D

Looks great! I love my little Maggie 9304 although she hasn't seen much use in quite awhile.

Good eye! Not installed, not yet. I didn't have one. But if you notice, there is a stainless steel button head screw kind of by the rectifier tube. That is simply to fill a 3/8" hole in the chasis - it is going to go there.

The only fuse holders I had took a 5/8" bit to drill the hole. I don't have a drill, nor the bits/holes saws to accomadate that.

On my next parts order for my next maggie amp, there will be two on it.
