I stopped in at the SA this morning, on my way out of town, and lo and behold, what did I find? A very nice Realistic Lab-420, just needing a stylus. I asked for the price, $5.00. Finally got it home attached another headshell and cartridge, and it works flawlessly, better than my other 420, and in better cosmetic condition. Oh happy day:music:

So what cartridge was installed in the Table before you switched to the other cartridge?

Why did you change carts? The reason i ask is because i wasnt crazy for that cartridge. I wanted to see if you didnt like it for the same reason i didnt. I own 2 LAB-400's that both came with the R1000 EDT.

neither cart had a stylus, and I have'nt got around to buying one. I just swap headshells with different carts around to different tables.
