As well as will music be played while we're there?

Cameras are allowed but its still a good idea to ask the room owners permission.
Music will be played. Feel free to bring your favorite CD with. Most rooms will gladly play them.
SpangleStomp 04-27-2009, 02:34 PM ok will do, I havent got to hear good music for awhile. All they have down here is straight "rap" and straight country.
Ready to hear some GOOD music. :)
and will do, on the asking part.
hopefully make a good little scrapbook out of this, pictures with members! Also writing an in depth experience to the 3 members in chat that wanted it.
Recommend any seminars? or for just starting out, just to walk around and talk?
whell 04-28-2009, 03:57 PM All are recommended, let your interests be your guide. The seminars sound awesome, and the member and vendor rooms are not too be missed. It'll be hard to choose where to start first!
SpangleStomp 04-29-2009, 08:47 PM 100% will be there. It's official :)
olson_jr 04-29-2009, 09:59 PM It is going to be interesting to hear what CD you have to play of "good music" Then your going to have to tell me what "Straight Rap" or "Straight Country" is, and compared to what , crooked Country?http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/images/smilies/scratch2.gif
I hope to learn something too.http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
Have a safe trip.
SpangleStomp 04-30-2009, 06:55 AM Im not being judgemental of anybodys music. But straight rap is like "tupac" or how many peopl ethink they grew up hood in Indiana haha.
Country is alright Im talking straight country. I can listen to some Tim McGraw, or even some Willie Nelson, but some Clint Black or something no way.
Good music (although I wasnt born then) was 70s and 80s rock. :music:
olson_jr 04-30-2009, 07:15 AM I gotcha, straight country is the commercial/top 40 stuff. I can't listen to that either!
SpangleStomp 04-30-2009, 08:32 AM I wanna hear some
ACDC
Kiss
Guns N Roses
and of the sort, that's just the short list, so hopefully I hear some good stuff :thmbsp:
cfranz 04-30-2009, 12:42 PM Feel free to bring your favorite CD with. Most rooms will gladly play them.
Although I did have a minor bit of trouble convincing a couple of the speaker sellers to let me crank my Thrash Metal albums.
Spoil sports. :guitar:  :D
SpangleStomp 04-30-2009, 01:22 PM how could I even forget metal?
SpangleStomp 04-30-2009, 10:29 PM meh, might be arriving later or possibly saturday.
grumpy 05-01-2009, 05:11 AM You will be sure to hear the standard mix of artists at the show but it never ceases to amaze me how much old and new music you can get turned on to at the show.
luvvinvinyl 05-01-2009, 06:42 AM Be sure to post your pics and review here, so that we all can share your experience. It would be great to see the Fest through the eyes of a younger listener.
You could bring a record or two, as well. There will be several turntables running.
May Audio and, on a smaller scale, Audio Two will be selling music.
SpangleStomp 05-01-2009, 07:27 AM When exactly does the exhibit open and close saturday.

luvvinvinyl 05-01-2009, 07:32 AM At the top of this, and every AK page, is a banner which takes you to the Fest site, akfest.com. The show hours, and much more information, are contained therein.
