I just picked up this first generation digital tuner and all seems well except one minor thing. Upon power-up it defaults to 103.5, not the last station tuned. The presets hold their memory. Anyone have experience with this tuner? Thanks.

Look on the back panel. There may be a switch (as there is on the T-80) where you can choose the station that is remembered upon power-up: either the same one all the time (usually the one in Preset #1), or the last one that was playing when you powered the tuner down.

My T-70 does the same thing but to a different channel. No switch on the back of mine that I can see though. Just my luck

Thanks. I guess it is just a design quirk.

I have a T-70 also.
What you are seeing, when you turn the power on, is the Initial Station Set.
This feature let's you select any station as the one to be tuned when the power is switched on. (Useful if you want to do time delayed recording, for instance.)
To set/change this station:
Select any station.
Push and HOLD the memory button.
When Memory button is flashing, turn the power off.

At future power up, this station will be tuned. This can be any station - it does not have to be a preset.

Thanks mrbruce! I now have a new default station upon power-up.
