I just thought I'd let you all know --I used to live near the fest from 1977-1992 and know some spots to dine around the hotel.
1 mile from the fest sits the BEST Japanese Shushi Bar and further up the road is a big shopping mall --where the wifes can go if they get bored.
Look me up as I'll be there all weekend and I'll see if I can steer you in the right direction.

Went to Akasaka while at the Fest last year, very nice and I'll probably plan a trip back there this year.
