Pinning the Dolby board solved the intermittent channel problem.
Will install LED's for the dial and tuning meters and incandescent lamps in the power meters.

Got the tuning string back on as well. I hated to remove it, but had to, to disassemble the receiver.

I will test all four channels after I get the meters reinstalled.

There is a post in the sansui forum somewhere with instructions on how to do it. An oscope is helpful, but you can probably do it with your own ears.

So far I find that this receiver has plenty of bass with the controls flat and loudness off.
