I've got a full mono channel wired up now, pushes ~40 watts RMS with eight 6080's in parallel P-P. I'm certainly getting closer to a design.
Here is a scope capture of the input signal top trace and output signal at 30 watts RMS into 8 ohms resistive load at Ten Cycles per second. Yup 10 Hz! This is the lowest I can go with my HP signal generator. With 16 triodes in the output stage this baby is going to have good dynamic damping factor and by the looks of it, great bottom end for a toob amp. It certainly sounds good at this point. I can't wait until I have two channels done for more critical listening tests.
Please excuse the camera shutter effect. The trace moves fairly slowly sweeping a ten Hz signal and the shutter doesn't stay open for its entire duration.
