Retro Retro Stereo 08-18-2004, 02:49 PM I really think the Pioneer forum should be on top of the Sansui forum.... :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: Retro Kamakiri 08-18-2004, 03:14 PM Nice new title, by the way ;) Dave918 08-18-2004, 03:18 PM Congrats on your new home and title Retro!! :thmbsp: (or is that Mr. Retro now :p: ) -Dave Pioneer727 08-18-2004, 03:53 PM I mark this day Pioneer Day. Alright! DingusBoy 08-18-2004, 04:24 PM I really think the Pioneer forum should be on top of the Sansui forum.... I always thought the beefier, more solid components should be on the bottom. ;) Congrats on the new gig Retro! CarlV 08-18-2004, 04:34 PM There goes the neighborhood! Carl Congratulations Retro Stereo! :D Silver Fan 08-18-2004, 07:04 PM As it should be! Congrats Retro. Now us Pioneer fans have a place to call home! ;) Ken Lefty 08-18-2004, 07:11 PM Well it's only fair to have a Pioneer forum seeing we let those damn yankees (Sanusi types) have theirs :D Only have one peice of Pioneer gear, I seem to recall it saying SX-1980 on the model badge, or something like that :p: I did find and spuce up a nice little SX-650 and gave it to my sister for Christmas a year ago along with vintage speakers advents, marantz cassette, an old sony D-7 CDP and a Thorens TT. She really likes it and is a big step up from the boom boxes and cheap plastic stack systems She used in the past. Lefty sixt8mopar 08-18-2004, 08:45 PM That is just about the best news I have heard today!PIONEER FORUM!Congrats to Retro and all you DIEHARD Pioneer fans!I don't REALLY have to change my avatar to post in here do I????:p: BTW way I have just as much Sansui gear as Pioneer and enjoy both of them!! in with the old 08-18-2004, 08:47 PM Now all we need is a Yamaha forum;) bsam8 08-18-2004, 10:16 PM Congrats Retro on the new forum-about time:D :D :D Retro Stereo 08-18-2004, 10:24 PM First off, I'd like thank Kam and Wards for the opportunity to moderate this Pioneer forum, I just hope I can do a good enough job for everyone. Next, thanks to all the well-wishers in this thread! I think this Pioneer forum is already something special and I hope it will continue to be for everyone who visits it. Also, if anyone is looking for any assistance (either technical or in identification, and hopefully for just about everything else) in the area of Pioneer Electronics, vintage and not-so-vintage, I hope this is the first place they come and get that assistance. I'll be honest, especially in the technical aspect, I'm not going to be able to answer a lot of the questions being asked, (that's where EchoWars comes in) ;) but I'm hoping with all the other regular "Pioneer People" here, we'll be able to be one one of the best resources for help and information for Pioneer owners, and future Pioneer owners on the WWW! And lastly, if anyone has any kind of issues with this forum at all, please PM me and we'll see if we can't get them worked out as soon as possible. Thanks again for this opportunity, I'm loving it. GibsonLesPaul 01-01-2005, 08:44 PM Hey! I'm new here. Was on the outside looking in but now I can say a word or three....Anyway, got a Pioneer SX-950 for Christmas/Anniversary gift so I guess that qualifies me..!?
