Interesting device. Great for short driveways off busy streets.

Is there a safety so it won't operate unless all four wheels are on the table? If not, could create problems.

hm... that seems a bit excessive. Some driving lessons would be a lot cheaper. This in the driveway would be like putting up a big sign that says "I CAN'T DRIVE!" but it would be good for those little teenage spoiled sluts who automatically get a car handed to them when they turn 16 (and end up crashing it a week after they get their license).
