Not sure whether I should jump on this. I'm also looking at some small advent for $70

I'm really just looking for the best all around speaker

Personally, I'd pick the KLH 23 (I have a pair) over the small Advents. One of the best speakers KLH ever made, IMO --perhaps the best. I got mine for considerably less, and I have no idea of market value for them (especially elsewhere), but sonically they are probably worth that, compared to many speakers. Try to negotiate the price down, as it sounds a bit too steep to me, but go for 'em if you can. They are very musical speakers. Expect to recap them first, though, to get the real sound. I'm sure other owners will chime in; search the archives and you'll also find more opinions.

100 is high unless they've been recapped and are in nice shape. Still, a great pair of speakers, and very easy to recap. Hit it if you want them; I wouldn't part with mine for anything.
