Who has the nicest system listed in the Gallery? Or, and or, which sysyem would you be most interested in listening to and why? One that has commonalities to your system or one that is very much different? At this point of your envolvment with audio replay are you interested in exploring other means of playback or just those you've attatched yourself? Or are you even interested in improving your current standard? And is this because you are "so happy" with the level of replay you enjoy or is it due to "other factors"?

Which one would I most like to hear? MINE! one of these days I hope to actually be done...so I can hook these things up and start listening.

...ok..besides bein a little anxious to be done with my project...I would be interested in hearing a number of systems (actually all) But at the top of the list would probably be Rob's BIG horns. Other mentions would be Tom B's vinyl rig...billforts Altec/300B set-up...and whatever you get too. Again tho...would be cool to hear them all!

I like my stereo and that doesn't find me gawking at other systems (for the most part) though both Tom B's and Billfort's system would top my list. They both own systems that represent the two speaker types and models / brands I'm considering. Tom's room looks inviting and Billfort sounds very interesting.

Hi MikE...and others.

I tell you what...there are a lot of nice systems in the gallery! I don't know if I would be able to choose one or two:dunno:

Actually a couple of things going on here.
Yeah, there are many many great stereos in this bunch.
There are also the PEOPLE that care about stereo, gear & music.
For instance, I'm not a tubes guy, but I would really like to listen to MikE's system (and could I hold the baby?) and listen and jawbone some and just enjoy the whole ambience.
I had the opportunity to visit Toasted Almond, and I super enjoyed the meeting. Hard to get those Amazing Platinum's out of my mind's ears!
Shain's collection of Marantz and his Esotec would be neat to see.
Just so many of you have such nice gear.
(I'm taking some pain meds for a flare up of back pain ... I sure hope I haven't done something again. Does this make sense?)

No way to choose just one or two. But, given my new found love affair with tubes - WildWest, Wardsweb, Billfort and MikE's systems (just to name a few) would all be at the top of the list.

Whew, so many nice systems. So many interesting combinations too. Rob's and fisherman's (when he is done gezzzzz LOL) Billfort's without a doubt. MikE's, Wardsters and Dave's new gear. Geeee how many can I pick here? LOL

Like WW said there are just so many. I would love to hear Wilds, Wards or Toasted's to name just a few. Never can get enough of a good thang ;)

Where this thread come from? Forgot all about it. Like the others have said, there are many systems and individuals I'd like to spend some time with. And to answer my own question. I'd like to check out those systems that resemble mine but with horns or horn-loaded speakers: Fish, Wardweb, Billfort, Volvotreter, Sasaki, Rob, Tom B. I'd also like to hear a few systems that are SS based or quite unique from mine. Then there's some that I just know I'd like; Fredt300b, Michael W. And there's others I've missed. :(

There are alot of nice systems in the gallery but the one thing thats disturbing is that some people seems like you dont care about soundstage or anything. with the speakers soo close together or on tables or whatever.

Why!

The problem arrises from lack of space. I think nearly all of us suffer from that. Or worse yet She who must be obeyed has proclaimed No way in hell are you putting your speakers where they sound best !

True. I dont have alot of space either. but i guess i dont have a significant other to tell me i cant squash everything up on the opposite side of the stereo :D
