The vinyl situation is getting so bleak around here I've begun to buy used cds (I tell you, I'm like a damn junkie :D). Picked up a bunch of Monk and Coltrane yesterday, and the day before that grabbed a slew of Vollenwieder, Vangelis, and Arkenstone.

His 1981, 82, 84 & 86 releases are fabulous--all on vinyl (promo). I saw him in concert in New Haven in 1987 at The Palace, and his band was stunning.

The Vangelis was "Direct". I've got a bunch of Vangelis and Fohlenfeeder on vinyl but these were new titles. Also found a copy of Aphrodities Child, 666, a while back.
