Just coming off of an amazing weekend for music here in Austin.

Unfortunately for all of us, Poodie Locke, Willie Nelson's long-time road manager and local fixture and bar owner passed on this month. Poodie was much love in the music community though, and a whole lot of people got together to throw him one heck of a send off...a really wonderful, moving day of music.

Some of the folks on stage included Gary P Nunn, James Hand, Carolyn Wonderland, Reckless Kelly, The Flatlanders, Billie Joe Shaver, Freddie Powers, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Paula Nelson, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Folk Uke, and so many others...it was a wonderful day of music

So here's to Poodie, and I hope he knows that there's a lot of people down here who miss him!
