The Flaming Lips reissued their 1999 masterpiece "The Soft Bulletin" on 180 gram vinyl last Tuesday, and, before I pick it up, I was wondering if any AKers have bought and spun this vinyl yet. Does this reissue meet your standards?

I thought it was supposed to be out too. All the online sites sites still says the release date is TBA. Was that ever officially released on vinyl?

golly, i cant believe that album is 10 years old. great record, dont know about the vinyl though.

...wianieq, you're right. Insound has changed the release date above the record description to read:

THIS ITEM IS A PRE-ORDER. WE EXPECT IT TO SHIP ON OR BEFORE THE TBD RELEASE DATE.

What day on calendars is the "TBD Release Date?" Looks like funny last-minute web editing.

I'll resurrect this thread when we can all be sure the record is definitely out there.

I saw the Flaming Lips last June. Very flashy show - lots of lights and special effects.
