I have seen Dave Alvin there and it was a great show, too bad it is Tuesday Night.

Looking forward to that John Jorgensen Quintet show. And some shopping at Encore Records and a pint (or two) of Sacred Cow from the Arbor Brewing Co. That's a damn fine IPA and I can't visit Ann Arbor and not drink a pint.

Since I could not make it to Dave Alvin Tuesday, I had to settle for listening to Ashgrove and West of the West, while I had a IPA.

How was the show?

Quite good,the ladies were all very capable musicians.A nice mix of the old and new.There was no opening act so they got right to it by 8:15 & we were on the street at about 10:10 so we got our monies worth.I'd forgotten what a good guitar player he is.
