Hi Linn Owners
I need to replace the original feet as they look worned out. What would be your suggestions as replacements so as to not to alter the Linn sound .
Your views will be apperciated.

From an article written by Russ Andrews, he recommends that one utilize the "Oak Cone Feet" which his company sells. I have not tried these at this time but he seem to be very knowledgable based on what I have read.

His e-mail is info@russandrews.com
Another site, and do be careful how and what you write as they have a strict monitoring process and some of the things you try here will not be acceptable, is www.vinylengine.com.
Good luck, and if you do try the "Oak Cones" please let me know because I am considering trying them for mine.

Not to sound dumb, but Linn still makes the Sondek so why can't you replace the feet with new ones from Linn?

I do not think your comment is dumb at all.
The reason I am considering something different is just to see if any improvement can be made to the sound quality.
IMO - some of these things are pure snake oil, but then there are others that do make a noticeable difference and if you do not try it, how do you know whether it works or not?
