Is there a particular reason we don't have a car audio forum? It would seem to make perfect sense for AK to have one!
The reason I am asking is that I recently purchased a Dodge Grand Caravan, which has a pretty nice sound system - I think the speakers are Infinity - but could do with a bit more umpf in the back. I was wondering if anybody could recommend a pair of speakers that would fit in the standard cutouts as well as a amp to boost them a little. Or should I just put an amp behind the standard speaks?
As an alternative, I have a pair of MacAudio ML-2315 in the basement, together with a MacAudio MP-120 amp. This gear is from my first car in Germany. I brought it to OH when I moved, but have never used it here. The stuff is old (1980s) but pretty serious gear - 20cm (about 8" woofers) and 130 vintage watts in the amp. Not so easy to fit in the van though, and kids might smear ice cream all over it when they sit in the back
Any suggestions what I should do? :scratch2:
