I have been hunting high and low for info on this deck. I have one that needs new belts, but none of the online repair shops have any details!
It is possible this was not a USA available machine. My father-in-law may have purchased it in Japan in the 70's while stationed there. It isn't a top-of-the-liner, but it certainly is pretty and works well.

Hey bolly, no luck at ALL! Even vintage-electronics.net didn't have an idea!
Axel (www.thevintageknob.org) did mention he may have some info on it, but I have yet to hear from him. There is no way I am getting rid of mine - it is too damn pretty! I am just going to hold onto it until I am able to get some info on it.
In the meantime, I have my good ol' CT-F8282 with a TEAC A-103 as my backup!
Oh, and how about a pic of yours?
