View Full Version : This is awesome finally a protester for a worthy cause!
As a single dad, even though I now have custody, I spent 8+ years putting up with shit from my son's mother when she had custody. I still deal with the reverse discrimination like the State and Courts not giving a shit if I don't get paid child support but if she didn't get it they'd sure be up my ass ;) This guy is my hero!

Reel 2 Reel 09-13-2004, 12:06 PM Its a shame how the Friend of the Court doesnt give a damn about the childern....
and your right ...if you are a mother...you get all the money...
If your the dad...with custody...they dont give a rats butt...as long as your all paid up with the mother..........if your in arrears...they will still put you in jail for non-payment...with no remorse for the children...................ie..taking the sole provider away from the kid...for just a measly couple hunerd bucks...go figure that one out!!!
The kids arent even in the equation anymore...there isn't a human in the decision making procedure anymore...just another point of the "machine...(the laws and books )...making procedure......If a person made the decisions ...it would be a better place...but then along comes the liability bullchit...
A friend of mine had custody of his two little girls....(the kids are grown up now)...the mother was 350 miles away....he was 50 dollars in arrears to the mother from when she had the kids........the police came and took him to jail...the kids were temporarly put into foster ...although for a couple hours............. traumitized ..screaming and crying...this was really in the best interest of the children......
All this for the courts to get their 50 bucks...the mother didnt get but I think it was $17.50 of that...the system took the rest....
It's gettin to the point to not have kids anymore....thats what I told my kids while they were growin up..."keep that thing put away!!!or go get them cut clean off!!!!"........
So far....So Good!...I'm not ready for screamin' grandbabies....yet!...........
Believe me after what I went through if I wasn't deathly afraid of sharp pointy things being near my scrotum region I'd go get snipped so I would never have to worry again :(
piece-it pete 09-13-2004, 02:44 PM Thor I want to apologise if I came across a bit glib on a serious subject.
It sounds like an awful situation. At least you've got'em, they'll thank you for it someday!

Do it big guy, but only if you're certain you don't wish to have more children. It can be reversed, but it is light years more complicated to do so.
I had my "personal surgery" several years ago. In and out in 20 minutes and the next two days on the couch watching movies. Just follow the Doc's orders and you'll be fine.
And always ready.....
PS. It doesn't happen near the scrotum. Try below the waist about 2" north of Mr. Johnson.
ProAc_Fan 09-13-2004, 03:02 PM Hmm I don't know about down south but up here they damn well do enter the scrotum. Here's the procedure from the " GENTLE" vasectomy clinic.
"NO-SCALPEL VASECTOMY"
The technique used at The Gentle Vasectomy Clinic® is the "No-Scalpel Vasectomy". It was developed by a doctor in China in 1974, introduced to North America in 1985, and to Canada in the early 1990’s.
A conventional vasectomy involves opening the skin of the scrotum to reach the vas with one or two incisions at least 2 ½ cm long made with a scalpel -one on each side of the scrotum, or one in the middle. At the end of the procedure, after the vas has been blocked the incisions are stitched (sutured) closed.
With a "No-Scalpel Vasectomy" only one small opening is made by means of a puncture at the midline of the scrotum and spreading the skin open. Each vas is carefully lifted out, one at a time, and blocked. At the end of the procedure they are allowed to slip back deep into the scrotum where they naturally lie and the opening is covered with ointment and a piece of gauze. No stitches are required.
Once the vas has been reached, it is blocked by one of several ways with either procedure, which is why the success rate is the same. The big difference is how entry into the scrotum itself is made. With the "No Scalpel Vasectomy" there is much less trauma to the scrotum. This shortens the healing time and significantly reduces the risk of complications.
Come on Thor be a man and take the plunge !!!! :)

Sandy G 09-13-2004, 04:19 PM Yeah-I had hydrocel repair surgery about 12 yrs ago & the worst part about it was the dreading of it. There was a little discomfort about 4-5 days later when the hair started growing back-I can fully sympathise w/women when they shave "down there" now-but that was it. And there's not a bigger baby around when it comes to this stuff than me. -Sandy G.
Andyman 09-13-2004, 04:41 PM I guess there's a lot of places to cut the vas deferens.
Here's an illustration of the general area where my incision was made (red arrow). One can see that there is also an opportunity to intercept near the scrotum too.
Looks like the boys have quite a swim on their hands!!
Carmine 09-13-2004, 06:20 PM You forgot to mention that Batman was on the walls of Buckingham Palace and was removed with cherry picker. Robin was there too, but came down on his own when the po-po threated to shoot him. (Out of season?)
tentoze 09-13-2004, 06:29 PM Don't even get me started on the lack of justice in these situations- I have very personal experience being screwed over when I got custody of my twins.
Bauhausler 09-13-2004, 07:35 PM Since we're talking about our nads now I'd might as well jump in. I thought about getting them short circuited a few years ago, but then a friend related his experience to me. around 1985 he had a normal conventional vasectomy. A few years later, he started to notice that Lefty was a little bigger than Ralph, and eventually Lefty was quite tender. By the time the afflicted organ had gone from walnut size to more like a lemon he sought medical advice. (in your case, Thor, think of going from lemon size to grapefruit) His doc told him this was common and normal after tubal snippage. The inflated organ was drained with a BIG needle and the discomfort, which must have been considerable, was relieved. It is expected to come back, however, and the therapy is periodic needling and draining.
No thanks. I'll keep mine unaltered and get used to latex.
jerrymrc 09-13-2004, 07:45 PM I was a single parent in the military for about 8 years. It was very hard for a man. fast forward to 2002. One of my solders had his son and when he got some paperwork from the state of colorado to collect
for back child support it started off with" Name of father"????
It assumed the MOTHER had custody!!!! Every fill in the blank was aimed at collecting from the FATHER. I told him to call them up and complain and when he did the first thing they did was want paperwork (again) proving he had custody!
I have also noticed that those rules about pulling a drivers licence for non payment of support seem to only apply to men. :uzi:
DanTana 09-13-2004, 07:56 PM If they made murder legal for 1 day, you'd find lots of ex's dead.

I had custody of my son for 4 years and never received one penny of child support, during two of those years I paid $10 a week towards my back child support and had my tax returns confiscated.
Just last year I had to go to court and give up any right to back child support or future child support because my son's mother was living in Michigan and she took me to court here in Maine and was trying to get me to PAY TO SEND MY SON TO MICHIGAN SO THAT SHE COULD HAVE VISITATION DURING THE SUMMER AND SCHOOL VACATIONS!!!!!!!!! Wanna know what? The courts consider time spent with the mother so vital they were considering making me PAY IT!!! Here I have had this child and had been his sole means of support for 4+ years, no child support ever paid to me from his mother and the state turns around and wants me to finance his visitation trips to his mother's  I just about went crazy and burned that courthouse down!!!!!!!!!! So since she couldn't afford to both pay for the visitation travel costs and start to pay me child support both past and present I had to agree to waive the child support to not have to pay. I figured WTF anyway I'll never see any money from her the least I can do is not have to PAY anything more :(
VinylHanger 09-14-2004, 12:02 AM I remember a story a few years ago, where a guy had been paying child support for a kid he thought was his. Well, after the paternity test it was found that he wasn't the kids father. He had been paying happily to support his "kid". Well, he wanted to stop paying and have the actual father pay and the state told him he had to keep paying since he had started. That would suck.
jerrymrc 09-14-2004, 12:11 PM That was here in CO. We tricked ya once now watch us do it again. A bird in hand.......
