Just picked up this double tape deck at GW. Not that I needed it. Can someone help out. It says auto reverse on both decks. Is that common? Anyone know anything about this deck? I haven't plugged it in yet.

JVC made quite a few of them. I had auto reverse recording on both decks and it was a pretty nice unit, but I cannot remember the model number. I gave it to a friend some time ago.

I have a JVC td-w315 that is basically the same unit (sans the microphone jack on the front). I bought it new in '94 and it's been a great deck. Most of JVC's dual well decks from that timeframe were auto reverse in both wells.
