Just an FYI
A D300 is in the shop.
Firewire card reader must have had a bent pin. It elongated the same pinhole on 12 cards before it finally failed. Without me knowing of course. The only warning was the pin must have finally broke. When inserting a card after the pin broke the reader would crash the program then my entire system.
While inserting a defective card into the D300 body while on the job it didn't go all the way in. I gave it a little help and the elongated hole bent a pin causing a CHA error. Nikon amazingly has the pin reader in stock.
