More consoles to identify. I know it is a Decca and they list it as a allegeny 5. Any idea if it is stereo? I am guessing tube by the looks of it. John

The only way I think it could be stereo would be if it had an external speaker cabinet. Many early stereo consoles had a seperate speaker cabinet (now often missing) for the other channel.

Before going after it, I would try to find out if it had a power transformer style amp. Many of these had small low power "hot chassis" amps.

Yeah...I found out the hard way...I have a hot chassis amp console in the garage... Think I will pass on this one. Unless it is stereo...then possibly. John
