In case anyone missed the announcement in the AK News forum, I wanted to make sure and let everyone know about this.

There is a new section in the Audiokarma Database for McIntosh info including owners manuals, service manuals, schematics. brochures and more. Here is the link:

Over the last week I have been loading all my info there (if you see any mistakes please let me know so I can correct them). There are now over 400 documents there for everyone to use and enjoy.

If anyone has any pdf files that are missing in the McIntosh section and would like to add them to the database please let me know (PM me or email files to files@akdatabase.org ) and I'll get them added.

Right now except for the speaker section I have most of my files loaded, I still have many speaker files to load and some misc others. So if you have any owners manual, service manual, brochure or other info that is not there and would like to donate it please let me know. It has to be a pdf file less than 8mb.

There are now 465 documents in the McIntosh section for everyone to enjoy.

Hopefully the database will continue to grow with donations from other members. As I said in the original post, if anyone would like to donate a pdf file (8mb or less) to add to the database, let me know and I'll get it posted there.

For some reason I could not get any files bigger than 8mb loaded. I edited the original post to reflect this.

Thanks, Victor, for such an effort. I feel like a bit of an ingrate pointing this out, but for the Mac1500 you have uploaded the service manual twice, and no owner's manual. I went right to that one because it is the only owner's manual I don't have for my McIntosh gear.

Thanks for catching that mistake. I'm glad you pointed it out. If anyone sees any other mistakes please let me know so I can correct them.

Sorry to disappoint you, I don't have a MAC1500 owner's manual to post for you. I was loading info from different sources and accidentally uploaded 2 MAC1500 service manuals and mislabeled one. :sigh:
