Hey guys, I have a 1060B Integrated amp and it has developed some problems. Right now the problem is the right channel is no longer working! It use to get scratchy whenever I would adjust the volume and maybe cut off until I hit the volume knob, and then it would work again. But it was never as "clear" as the left channel, I don't know if that is normal, I would imagine not. I'm not sure what is wrong, so I'm hoping someone on the forum can diagnose it for me, and hopefully provide a solution! Thanks guys, Elliott

Sorry to say but it sounds like your volume control.
do you have any soldering skils? If so you can go to radio shack and buy a 250k volume pot and try it in it's place.

Before doing any soldering..Give the volume control a real good deox-it treatment.Sounds like it is just real dirty.

Yep. Clean it before you do anything else. I had the same amp a couple of years ago and couldn't get ANY sound until I gave it a good bath.

Agree with the dirty pot analysis. Probably just needs a cleaning. Clean all the switches and pots while you're in there.

I had the same deal w/ a 1060,deoxit did the trick. It took two tries, but it was worth the time. A cheap fix. I have learned to be patient when doing the deoxit fix,it is not *instant* at times.
Good luck .
