I need the small counterweight that goes on the very end of my tone-arm. If anyone out there has one they could part with, please let me know. I would be greatly obliged. :D

PacificStereo 10-31-2009, 11:33 AM Oh, boy. You mean the supplemental weight that allows for a higher mass cartridge, right? Might not have any luck with that- I'm pretty sure I don't have one of those, though someone else might. jojo0416 10-31-2009, 12:01 PM I am not lucky either looking for that sub weight for my PL 530. What happened was I found a $10 Pioneer TT (forgot the model) at our local GW with a heavier weight attached to it, I switched the weights and donated back the TT to that same GW. Noborigama 11-04-2009, 09:03 AM I believe it would be the sub weight. It is the smaller weight, fit's on the very back end of the arm. Thanks. j_loop 11-04-2009, 11:19 AM Just out of curiosity, what carts are you using/planning to use that would need the sub weight? I have a 530 without the sub weight, so I always keep an eye out for one, but I haven't really considered a cart over 9g that would need it either. cason 11-04-2009, 11:27 AM I also have been looking, off and on, for the sub-weight for a PL-610 with no luck. It occurred to me that if I knew the weight (mass) of the sub-weight and the thread size, I could fabricate a substitute sub-weight. Any one have that information? Also, is the mass of sub-weights the same across the several Pioneer tables that originally came with sub-weights. Thanks, Bob Noborigama 11-04-2009, 03:02 PM You know at the moment I don't need the weight for a cart I'm using, it's just that I want it for the completeness factor of my TT. I am currently using a Shure M97xE. kcollins4 11-04-2009, 03:25 PM I also have been looking, off and on, for the sub-weight for a PL-610 with no luck. Thanks, Bob The 610 and the 630 sub-weight have the same part number. siamac 11-05-2009, 03:04 AM I think I have one of those and can give it to you  siamac 11-05-2009, 03:09 AM http://www.abload.de/img/zteztztz006hyfx.jpg |
