Dont ya hate it when you buy something and its a bad recording :(

I just got a CDP (my first real one for the 2 channel system) and decided to buy a few Telarc and other AudioPhile CD's to break it in.

One I bought was Fresh Aire I. It was one of the first AudioPhile LPs I bought back in the day. It came yesterday and I dont think I have ever heard a worse recording. The noise floor is awful on it. So got a few good ones and a few bad ones !

disappointed in the terrible sound quality of the CDs. It'd be nice to think they might get remastered, but I doubt it.

Well the CD says remastered and since it is an American Gramaphone CD, I guessed it would be good. Nope :thumbsdn:
