Everytime I try to make it bigger it gets all fuzzy and I can't make it out anymore. About 2 or 3 times bigger than this would be very helpful:

ProAc_Fan 10-31-2004, 12:24 PM Thor here's a tip for you. When upsizing photo's you need to increase the size 10% at a time. If you try to double a pictures size in one step the detail gets lost. If you're using photoshop just increase in 10% increments and you'll barely notice any difference. Mike Reel 2 Reel 10-31-2004, 12:36 PM I didnt know that......Thanks for the tip Mike :thmbsp: Andyman 10-31-2004, 12:53 PM Me neither! Thanks! :thmbsp: Fisherdude 10-31-2004, 01:17 PM Guys, in many cases you're restricted by what the original image was, and how the original image was saved. If the original image was a scan of a paper document, and the paper image was very small, (like a drawing in a catalog), there's absolutely nothing you can do to increase the image size beyond what it originally was without a boatload of manual work, i.e. using a software program to redo every letter and number into a scalable font. The drawing will just get fuzzier and fuzzier. You can't make it better than the original without, essentially, drawing it over. Also, even if the original image was very clear and high resolution, but it was highly compressed in order to get the file size down, then any attempt to blow it back up to make it clear again will not work. It will just get increasingly fuzzy and pixelated. |
