Found some interesting parts day before yesterday.

I went into a local thrift store, and saw a decrepit old Lowrey organ. Checked through the vents, and saw TUBES. HA!

I asked the manager if it would be OK for me to buy the thing, strip the stuff I wanted out, and RE-DONATE the rest back to the store. She said, sure, no problem...

Took the back off... whaddya know, a PAIR of Lowrey/Westinghouse 7591s... that WORK. A half dozen 12AX7s, too. A whole bunch of 6x8s and 6FA7s (anyone need any of those?)

Sooo... I proceeded to pull all the tubes, plus the output and power transformers, and the speakers.

Not bad for a few bucks and an hour's tinkering!

I did the same thing a couple days ago, different machine but I brought home about 30 12AX7's, couple 7189's and 2 EL34's.
