Here's what I managed to pick up today in one cheap lot. I'm not too up on what labels/recordings surpassed others, so I'm just going to list them out and tell me whatcha think. I have to get my TT hooked back up after the changes in gear I've had around here.....

Anyways, here goes:

RCA Red Seal Beethoven Symphonies 2 and 4 (LM1723)

RCA Red Seal Beethoven Symphony #7 (LM1756)

Menotti, Amahl and the Night Visitors, RCA Red Seal Dynagroove LSC-2762

RCA Red Seal Beethoven, Missa Solemnis, 2 album set, LM6013

RCA Red Seal Richard Strauss "Till Eulenspiegel", "Don Juan", 2 LPs, LHMV-19

RCA Red Seal Rossini, "La Cenerentola", 2 LPs, LHMV-600

Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft 2 LPs, Hector Berlioz, "La Damnation de Faust", Igor Markevitch

RCA Red Seal Tchaikovsky Concerto No 1 in B Flat Minor, LCT-1012

Vox Records, Wagner "Tannhauser", complete, 2 LPs, Munich State Opera

Vox Records, Elvira Madigan

Vox Records, 5 LP set, Anton Bruckner symphonies

Well hell, there's too much here to list. Labels include Urania, Evarest, tons of Angel, Checkmate, Westminster, Parliament, Telefunken, Summit, and even a Parliament copy of the 1812 overture.

Must be 50 plus albums here, every one purely mint.

Any experts on those labels can PM me with your number or tell me what to look for before I drop the tonearm on these and give them a try :)

You have a nice find of really fine performances of classic RCA recordings. Those are not the ones that bring the really big bucks; those are the early stereo recordings that one hears about but you found a great bunch of recordings. Now you have to find those buyers who want the early mono and offshore pressings. Good luck!!!!!!
