List em fellas. Let's see some links.

Looking for some not-so-common 6BM8's. It's kinda like a 6BQ5 (EL84) with half of a 12AX7 on top.

Cheers,
Russ

I have a Lafayette amp that use a pair of PP 6bm8s. They were all an older matched set then somehow one of the pins broke off inside the socket on one. :twak: Those miniature pins are delicate! I need to look for another pair.

I dunno about those particular types of tubes, but if you absolutely, positively HAVE to have a set of balloon 01As for yr battery Atwater-Kent, George Fathauer has a nice site-www. fathauer. com. Good guy. I've bought a fair amount from him over the last several years. Also has a very nice links section on his site. Another one I've used is the old standby-Fair Radio Sales & service in Lima, Ohio. Used them a bunch over the last 15 yrs or so since I got bit by the Boatanchor bug. You can even still buy an R-390A from them, used-obviously-but checked for $575.www.fairradio.com -Sandy G.

First linky, no worky.

Second link, I STILL haven't gotten to an actual list of what the hell they have or don't have. I'm clicking STOCK LIST, STOCK LIST, keep jumping through hoops.

Hey, page 18, finally, and guess what, no 6BM8's.

Keep em coming fellas.

Cheers,
Russ

There closed right now but they have a lot of unusual tubes. I've purchased from them before and can recommend them. Can be pricey but the stock is legit. MikE http://www.tubeworld.com/

As MikE said, prices are a tad high, but the selection is HUGE(frequently updated), service is very fast, and he knows his tubes-they are what he says they are. Good place for rare/hard to find tubes. Always my first choice.

www.vacuumtubesinc.com
fair selection, good prices good service. He sometimes getts rare bizzarre variants of common tubes(ie CBS 7318s for 12AU7s or NU 6113s for 6SL7s).

www.upscaleaudio.com
prices are a bit high, but his tubes are tested and they ar what he says they are. His most demanded tubes(NOS 6SN7, 6DJ8) are in his cookie jar-must have bought gear from him to purchase .

www.vacuumtubes.com
SND tubes. Reasonable selection, knows his tubes. I havern't bought from him in a long time, so I cannot swear by this right now.

www.angela.com
Angela instruments. Nice selection, reasonable prices. Usually does not match small signal tubes unless specified price/pair.

Whoever you buy from, do not let them tell you what tube is best for you and your gear. They are inevitably wrong. Only YOU can decide what is best-THERE IS NO PSYCHIC TUBE SERVICE.

Yea, his website is a pain.
His online list is YEARS old, and of no real use. You have to call him and *ask* what he has, or tell him what you want.
