Actually I'm stuck now for want of a pair of excellent output xfmers. My homewound toroidal sounds really sweet, but saturates at the bottom end of the band at high power. This causes blinking room lights, blown fuses and the occasional loss of an output tube. I need to wind more primary turns is all, but that is real work, so I'd sooner outsource the output transformers for the time being. I'm awaiting a quote. I'll keep you posted. The amp does sound sweet though. :)

It is true I've become distracted with speaker development. I've got my grips on the tail of a winner right now I think and I'm not letting go.
