I picked up a set of Paradigm monitor 7 yesterday. Cats did a pretty good number on the grills and the surrounds. They still play fine but one surround is pretty much tattered, and two have significant cuts in them. I checked with the paradigm dealer and he figured I'd have to replace the entire driver( at 100 a pop!) I found some foam replacements but was hoping to find some rubber. Unless the switch to foam will not adversely affect the sound.

Any ideas??

IIRC, MCM Electronics has some rubber surrounds. The Monitor 7 is an 8" woofer, right? If so, I bet they have 'em...

in the monitor 7. Most of these places have a minimum order + shipping. I'll check them out and see what I can find.
