This Secret Santa is going shopping this weekend. If I have drawn your name what's on your wish list? Don't hold back now, never know what will be on sale!
CD's or vinyl? Cassettes or RTR? Laser disk or 8 track?
Country or soul? Classical or rock? Metal or pop? Folk or Rap? Blues or Jazz? Hip hop or punk? :scratch2:

Back then, engineers and designers figured we all were smart enough not to stick our fingers in the whirling metal fan blades. :D
Nowadays, safety engineers know better, so our fans have dense screens that block more air than they let pass through.
'course that keeps dsk from hacking up his digits! :lmao:
Which is more important, air circulation, or my ability to endlessly fiddle with electronic toys? I think we all know the answer.

Thanks. I was glad to find that avatar. I am an antique dealer and I have bought and sold some really neat old fans. Kept a few for myself as well.
Not sure safety engineers got the ball rolling changing fans from what was to what is...my guess is they followed the lead of the lawyers!
