Anyone know anything about these?
I see one for sale untested for $40,100w.

As I recall they built a lot of PA amps, 70V outputs, etc.

I wondered if this wasn't maybe a PA amp,might not be the best for a stereo?.
$40 seems cheap though unless it needs a major repair.

PA amps generally are not designed with high fidelity in mind. They tend to have higher distortion in exchange for high power, and the output frequency spectrum is often less than 20-20,000Hz, rolling off at either or both ends.
