This thread was posted over on AA yesterday.
I called Shure today to trade in my Shure V15 VMR(not x) stylus and was told by Barbara Laboy the program no longer existed. Only warranties or stylus purchases at full cost would be honored. Alas!
I bought one earlier this month. this is too bad.

Cant say i blame em. Once word got out on the web about the program I bet stylus were flying out the door.

I think it's more bottom line than that.
Why offer the replacement price as an incentive to buy the V15 cart if you are no longer selling the cart?

I just checked the link and it looks the same as it did months ago,
Note it still says the fee for series VN stylus replacement is $50.00, which I guess is the V15 stylus???

many other companies will allow trade in of competitors products try www.needledoctor.com or www.elusivedisc.com they both have trade-in deals.

I deal with Barb Laboy on a regular basis. The date of my last delivery from them was 12/27/04. It happened to be for the N-91-ED stylus - although I am beginning to think that they are no longer making them - when current inventory is gone - that's it.
