Twas the night before Christmas
True story, I'm no liar
It all started off with me changing
My wife's truck's flat tire.

Started about 3:00
Went without a hitch
Then came the hard snow
Aw son of a bitch!

With I in my coat
I finished the task
"Can we take the Lincoln?"
My son innocently asked

Got everyone ready
Which is always a chore
Kids crying and whining
As we head out the door

The snow now was deep
Brushed the snow off with a broom
Started the Lincoln
"Rrrrr Rrrrr Rrrrrrr........VROOM!"

Couldn't see out the windows
No other drivers could too
Havent piloted a 3 ton sled
In deep snow since '92!

Long story cut short
We made it through Mass
Forgetting a snowbrush
Was a pain in the ass!

Yeah about a foot o' snow
Came down during prayers
Just glad my family
Didnt fall down the stairs

Job worries weigh heavy
My spirits they dive
Cruising on the highway
With the snow, max 25

Did the thing with the in-laws
Which was actually fun
No snow up where they are
On the ground a little, in the sky there was none

Because of home weather
We had to leave early
But it wouldnt have been Christmas
Driving the wife's SUV

Kids passed out on the way
On the soft leather seats
Carried them into their beds
So there were no wet little feets

The wife and I opened gifts from each other
There would be enough Christmas Day
Socks, shirts, and DVDs
And a present from AK??

With a puzzled look to my wife
I tore open the card
What COULD I have got?
I thought really hard!

Was it greetings, a card?
A new Beta movie, or a DVD?
No, the PERFECT present!
Restoration for my Fisher
500C!!!

So Christmas Eve came and went
No minature sleigh, no eight tiny reindeer
But with the help of the mods of AK........

I'll finally have music, next year :yippy:

To the moderators here at AudioKarma, I can't thank you enough for that is probably the most ideal present that anyone could ever give. I honestly don't know what I could have done to deserve such a thing, but a better group of friends one certainly could not ask for :beerchug:

I also want to say a special thank you to Grumpy, for the wonderful presents for my whole family, and to Luther for his present of a laptop computer, since mine has one foot in the grave and one on a  . Thanks for all you guys do during the year to make my life just plain better all year round.

Merry Christmas and may all of your holidays be bright :beerchug:

You are more than welcome. This is what friendship is all about. We give because we want to, not because we have to. We give even more knowing nothing is expected. You are truely one of the people that makes the world a better place, just by being in it. You help to renew my faith in mankind in a time when all we hear about are the bad people, bad times, hate and war. You brought a vision of friendship, comradery, and audio to life. We now have a home away from home, new friends and a way to share our passion for audio in all its forms.

Thank You. :beatnik:
