The number of axes I've had would fill a little book, but the one I kept are the two Rickenbackers, here shown. The 360 was sparkling white when I bought it at Rudy's in NYC ; it yellowed to a nice vanilla over a couple of years and then yellowed even more bue to a real ugly hue so I got it refinished to its natural maple wood, adding a pair of Rick buckers along the way and a fairly non-standard wiring (the tone pots are used for variable single-to-humbucker selection). The 620 is a good instrument, very versatile unlike what is commonly believed about Rick guitars.

I also kept a 1st gen' Squier Tele (1982, s/n... 1792!!) which is a VERY good axe when one gets some hotter pickups in it... I wish I hadn't sold my '63 Dano (horrible fretboard but that crispy crisp sound!) and certainly my Höfner bass either :-(
Always played through a Mesa-Boogie QUAD preamp (8x 12AX7A), either through Boogie amps or straight in the boards...

Not playing or recording much nowadays but I give a hand once in a while for friends' albums or songs.

those ricks are nice, i'd like to see the tele as 1792 is a real real early one, i've got one of the real early strats, well i did, half of its over at my buddy's house, but it was one hell of a player before they turned to crap

Thanks!

The Squier was (and still is) a blonde - I like varnished fretboards.
If I remember correctly, I have two Di Marzio buckers with one of the pots switching the neck pu as single/double. I've played that one so much that it looks like a Clapton Strat - no varnish left on fair chunks of the neck, bangs all over and, yes, even the cigarette burn on the head :-)
