What do you think of a knowledge base section from the home page? Maybe just a fancy FAQ. A place to put things that pop up on the board like today; RMS vs. Peak, series/parallel wiring... because we still have one link switch available on the home page. Good - Bad - indifferent?

That idea deserves a THUMBS UP !!!! and also this:

:)
It also should grow naturally: I suggest that whenever a good thread comes up, just likt to it, from that section, so it's not that much work. What do you think?

I went ahead and added the informaton section to the homepage. Let me know what threads you think would be a good one to link to in the information database. Also, what FAQ we could add to the FAQ section.

Ward, I like the idea too.
One way to organise it might be to have a layout with the headings:
Amplifiers/Receivers
Tuners
Speakers
Turntables
Cables
HT
and so on.
The links can then be added to each heading - for example under Amps, your recent thread about power ratings.
This will make it easier to users and may even help with maintenance and future attempts to reorganise.
