We're going to diss you!

You know how those family get togethers are- whomever doesn't show gets dissed!

Mc fan? better be sure Carl gets there, otherwise your equipment of choice doesn't stand a chance.

Sansui? Phooey!!! Crap equipment. What? OK, show up and change my mind. I'm sure your friendly Moderator has the info to do it :)

Pioneers are only for tin ears. Come convince me else.

CD sucks, vinyl rules- hey, I'm already going, so there, plus I'm bringing back up with me :grumpy:

Canadians are all...oh wait, don't want to get Bigmac mad, nevermind.

Why I oughtta kick your :butt1:

Next time you mention the name "Pioneer" I want to see you doing this: :ntwrthy:

I'll be at this year's AK Fest, and you better put up or :pistols:

Let's see, what would you like me to bring. Maybe a SPEC 1 and SPEC 4 combo and an SA-9500 integrated. You bring your favorite sources and be prepared to be blown away!!! :jawdrop:

Is this the kind of spirit you were looking for? :D

Bring it on at the Fest

The Spec series may make a worthy entrant for Pioneer in a face to face off.

Unfortunately, I don't believe the Sansui camp has much of an input :lmao:

And McIntosh? Puhleese :thumbsdn:

I'll put my SoundDesign up against 'em :naughty:

Hmmm, maybe Yorx...

BRB- gotta go get some Music Mavens

I tell ya what....the closer it gets to 'AK' fest ...the more I hear about ..."'MY' stereo will beat the crap out of 'YOUR' stereo" BULLSHIT!!... I'm not gonna waste my time goin'.....

I'm not gonna sit there and listen to a bunch of nonsense trying to outperform..or outblast the next one...thats not whats it all about...

I was gonna bring my system ...just to let others hear the benifit of the horn loaded speakers...with signal processing ...vs.....straight line.....because there are some who have never heard them...but if its turning into a compitition...... :thumbsdn: ..I have better things to do with my time...... :grumpy:

We all have the gear we have. As long as we enjoy what we have, it doesn't matter what the rest of the guys have.

I think the post was started in jest and not meant to be a serious attempt at proving who has the biggest, best or loudest......if it ever came to that, it could only be done blindly without knowing what you were up against.

I'm sure if any one or two participants got onto the , "mine is better than your's" debate, The "AK group" would intervene very quickly.

Since I'm flying in I won't be bringing alot but will see what I can get into a carry-on that may raise a few eyebrows :naughty: I have a very small set of speakers that I've paired with a couple of subs. Sound much better than you'd think...I'll bring them in hopes there is a sub to use.

Hey Gary,
Me and the Ray were just funnin with each other. I'm not looking for any competition and didn't mean to come off that way. I like my Pioneer stuff just fine, but I KNOW there is a ton of stuff out there that sounds better and I want to hear all of it!!!

Krimney- the only speaks I'll be bringing are fairly small, as my car doesn't hold much. We could always try to grab Grumpy's sub when he ain't lookin'.

"Hey Dave, what happened to the bottom octave?".

May be days before he notices...

I do have a couple of disco CDs, that should keep him out for awhile

Do bring a few of your most "listenable" CDs to the Fest, Ray, and stop by my room! Oh, and disco is fine by me...

Reel 2 Reel...fascinating approach. Quite different...would LOVE to hear it.

So, to ask a STUPID question...where is the AK fest being held?? I live in Bowling Green, Ky. and I think it is within driving distance. Besides, I need a vacation. Any fees or anything??

Rock on, AK.
