Watched this DVD last night and thought it was excellent.
Jamie Foxx was outstanding as Ray Charles, it was easy to forget you were watching someone playing a part rather than watching the real thing.
One annoying thing about the DVD was the "Extended Version"
Unlike most extended DVD's where they re-edit the film and put finished footage back in seamlessly, this one actually would switch the DVD player to a different track with a deleted scene. The color and quality of these clips didn't usually match the rest of the film for the most part and were mostly annoying although a couple were worth seeing.
