Hi Jack:

Thanks for the kind wishes, but I must say, 39....-> man, I feel like 40 is hanging over my head already. I was 30 only back in '94- the time really flies by! People have often told me I looked much younger than my age until about 30, not as much since then, but some still do. (Just posted a photo in the mcsoolar thread- you or anyone else can judge on the age/appearance thing). Personally, I thought 34 has a nice ring to it. From 35 on, I stopped being keen on having birthdays roll around. My parents are 83 & 80, and my father didnt retire until he was 75, so hopefully I have some of those youthful genes:)

Sincerely, B/F.

39! A mere young lad making his way in the world.:)

December 7 a day that represents the ultimate expression of intelligent; ability to please women; appreciate fine vintage audio; combined with a modest personality.;)

As l type this l'm listening to music through a Sansui G6000 with Infinity speakers both items purchased from fellow site members.I was introduced to Sansui by a site member BeatleFred.:)

Thanks again Fred l'm honoured to share this day with you.:D :D

grumpy said it, happy b-day and thanks for the neat link.

Sheeesh, I was kinda thinkin' 44 or 47 or 50 sounded kinda young. If I can get away with it, I always lie about my age ...
Get older, but refuse to grow up, that's the ticket.

Gosh, 39 sounds really good ... if I can get back there again. From 39 on time burns really fast young fella. I think only enjoying vintage audio can slow it down.

A very happy birthday to you BeatleFred. I remember my thirties...Seemed I blinked and they were my forties. And now in my forties, the old age of my youth, I have toothpicks in my eyelids so I don't blink! :lmao:

Enjoy every waking minute, you are a lucky man to still have your parents alive!

Hmmmm...., well, after seeing the latest photo that mOOn provided, I think that other 80's photo he posted is looking better & better to me:)

I actually do have two older brothers, 48 & 55, so considering that, I guess you guys are right, 39 in comparison isnt too bad:)

oldmarantz - it's a slight jab at Fred; he STILL doesn't own a marantz, but owns about every thing Sansui ever made ;) Nothing against Marantz - I owned one and loved it.
