I agree, I have always loved the Batmobile. Its one mean looking machine, Now I also liked KITT as well, But if I had to choose the Batmobile would win.

Hmmmmm...that was made for a Lincoln chassie...I wonder if it would fit onto my '66 Merc Parklane.......it just might!!....but for 70 large....I dont think so....

I loved the original B-mobile...it was on a Ford Futura chassie...dont remember what year...I think 64???..... :dunno:

The original Batmobile was a slightly modified '55 Lincold Futura concept car, then a mold was taken of the body and the ones for touring and exhibition were put on various production chassis, mostly lengthened mid-'60s Ford Galaxies.

And BTW, if anybody's interested, I think the originals were all built by Barris Kustom City.

I Gotta give 'Nick' credit too :thmbsp:

He was there in a pinch.......but ..being the 'Ferd' fan that I was....I couldn't help it.....but ....I was Waaaaaaaaay off on the year though...... :sigh:

I still wonder bout the merc though :scratch2:
