I am a huge fan of crt projectors since i bought my baby :yes:

A mint condition re-tubed NEC DP 1200-SH.

The following is only my opinion!

I cannot believe I wasted so much time, money and effort trying to build a lcd projector. My crt is so much cleaner and no "screendoor" effect. I currently have it setup in my living room and projecting a 175" diagonal picture.

Only way to watch DVD's. I have a couple of Sony 1272's and use a 6 ft across screen. I could use a larger screen, but you can't beat the punchy picture. Almost looks 3D. You can't get a better picture with anything else. I also use it with a HTPC with HD OTA capability.

I never thought i'd love my crt projector so much!
It'll be even better when i finish the custom electric drop down screen :)
