Thanks WW! Jay I've been looking for a smallish, cheapish vintage motorcycle for getting around the city on. Something that the crackheads around here won't try to steal. :uzi:

The older I get the more I appreciate the older stuff.

This fell in my lap for $700. Of course, I checked ebay and could sell it for at least double what I paid! :D

That is so Freaking cool ! It shook a few memories loose for me.
I learned to ride on that very same bike cept it was red. They are great little bikes and reliable as hell ! You got an awesome price for it. I am pretty sure they are getting more and more collectable too. Is it really as clean as the Pic makes it out to be ?

Hey grump thanks! It must have been a great bike to learn on! You cant kill the honda 4 stroke engines!

Funny you ask about how clean it is ...When I went to look at it in person I thought it didn't look very clean but I knew that I could make it gleam. I looked it all over seeing places where I could apply this cleaner or that wax to make it look better. I took a couple pics of it in its dirty consition while it was parked in the womans driveway ...all the while thinking that I'd take more pics later after I had gone over it with a "fine tooth cleaning rag"

So, a shorter answer to your question would be, it's actually what I consider to be dirty in those pictures! Give me a week and this thing will look 10 times better than those pics.;)
