Like really weird movies? Like strange characters in a weird movie shot in a different style?

Remember Bruce Willis' girlfriend in Pulp Fiction? She plays an amnesiatic nymphomaniac showgirl, and Isabella is a legless beer baroness in the 30s depression Winnipeg who starts a contest for $25,000 for the country that has the saddest music in the world. And that is the title; The Saddest Music In The World.

Rented at Bock Buster.

Woof, never heard of that one. Guess you mean http://imdb.com/title/tt0366996/ am surprised to see Mark McKinney get billing above Isabella. Speaking of Brucie and weird movies, who can forget this beauty: http://imdb.com/title/tt0102070/ I actually kinda enjoyed it cuz it's so twisted, and Sandra Bernhard is INSANE.

PS I'd like Isabella even better if she were upside down and naked in a dimly lit room.

Never had any excitement over Isabella Rosselini. Must be missing something here. I tend to be more interested in, umm, trashy women like Pam Anderson. Just watched Barb Wire a couple of weeks ago - fun.

Hudson Hawk is great and Pulp Fiction is in on my all time top 5 list.

Blue Velvet is in a class of its own, I mean this movie is friggin creepy.

Remember Bruce Willis' girlfriend in Pulp Fiction? She plays an amnesiatic nymphomaniac showgirl, You gotta be thinking of another movie...Willis's girlfriend in PF was Maria de Medeiros, and wasn't a 'showgirl', but an eastern European type with a craving for blueberry pancakes and having a hard time with her English. Isabella Rossellini wasn't even in the movie.

First movie I remember her in was Blue Velvet. Strange damn movie.

Maria is in this movie and plays an amnesiatic nymphomaniac. I think she is Portuguese.

And speaking of Brucie and weird funny movies, ever see Four Rooms? Every actor but one that is in the last scene played a roll in Pulp Fiction. Definatly one of the funniest movies ever made, especially if you are sick and twisted like myself. Tarentino is a hoot, especially if you drink expensive champagnes. Well even if you don't, but this is definatly a cork dork cult film.

Speaking of cork dork cult films, ever see Eating Raul? Great fun for wine lovers, restaurant people and lovers of Hollywood Camp movies. I fall into all 3 catagories.

Isabella, Isabella. First saw her in Blue Velvet, and never forgot that movie.

Loved the demented nitrous-oxide huffing Dennis Hopper ("Mommy, Mommy" to Isabella in one of his explicit scenes with her). If you can find a more wacked out modern movie character, I'd like to hear about it. And if you think Blue Velvet is odd, you should see go another of David Lynch's films: Eraserhead. Blue Velvet is "Leave It To Beaver" (so to speak) compared to that one.

I remember reading that Roy Orbison gave permission to use his song "In Dreams" in Blue Velvet with the thought the film was going to be sorta mainstream. Needless to say, an in-drag homosexual/pimp Dean Stockwell singing the tune wasn't quite what he had in mind. <G>

A sad sad fate for this generation's Ingrid Bergman.

Wasn't the chic from Pulp Fiction french?

She played a French girl I believe, but she is from Portugal. I think in The Saddest Music In The World she is from Sarajevo but doesn't know it.
