input problems

hi, i have a bit of a dilemma recently upgraded to digital cable, i have a pioneer box with an onboard 5.1 decoder the problem is my 5.1 inputs on my nak av500 are already used by my dvd player. can i just add y cables and connect both to the inputs on the receiver? thank you for any help

You might want to consider a router/mixer like the Sansui AX-7. Do a Search on this forum for AX-7 for additional info.

are you saying you have run out of digital inputs? If so here's a cheap solution

an easy fix, for 11.00. I'm sure there are fancier solutions out there, but this works great.
