That guy is mighty smart. He probably did not realize that Hendrix Guitars can sell for a cool Million. With all the documentation from the amp company coming he will be able to most likely retire from this sale.

Oh yeah hes no great guitarist but certainly better then some of the schmucks I have heard.

It wouldn't surprise me if Marshall or the Hendrix museum made an offer that the seller could not refuse!

I cant even imagine what his amp could go for. maybe in the 500K plus range.

I will say one thing, at least he's trying to do the honest thing here. I mean it's a 50% chance it was never owned by Hendrix too. In that case all he has is an old amp.

If Marshall is going to the trouble of identifying it, then I am willing to bet the chances of it being genuine are much better than 50%. They must have seen something to make them believe that all of this background checking is truly worth the effort.
