I have a pair of tape guide arms that are bent on a Pioneer RT-707. Can these be gently bent back into alignment or do they require replacement? Are the pinch rollers also available?

How bent are the arms? If not out too far, they could be "adjusted" back in.
If they are really bent, I'd say replace them!

As far as the pinch roller goes, they can be had off of Ebay from time to time
but I'm sure someone will chime in with a better source.

The pinch roller can be "reconditioned" as well if it has a glaze on it.

Take the pinch roller off and break the glaze of with very fine sandpaper
and clean it up with some rubber rejuvenator.

Best of luck! :thmbsp:

Like Scott said, a small adjustment can be done if you are careful.
Check tracking of the tape afterwards so it line up with tape-guide and reels.
About the pinch-roller, the left side is a plastic roller, just take it off and clean it.
The right roller I would suggest finding a new one, not sure if Pioneer still sell these for 707, but check and see.
Otherwise Terry Witt can re-rubber the old one with excellent result.
